Inner City have been appointed as the Asbestos Removal specialist for this NHS centre of excellence. Our experienced operational teams are carrying these works with the highest level of health and safety and professionalism, working in a fully occupied and functional hospital in these unprecedented times. Our scope includes the full removal, encapsulation and decontamination of asbestos throughout the A&E Department, Standby Generator Room, LV Switchboard.
Phase 1 of our works commenced in August 2020 with a 25-day programme, followed by additional 5 phases. Inner City continues to deliver our services safely throughout this fully operational hospital, the phased removal and decontamination works are being carried out systematically and safely in line with industry best practice and the latest COVID-19 directives.
Debris Removal
The works consist of the removal of Asbestos Insulating Board debris to the Standby Generator room and LV Switch Board. The works will be under fully controlled conditions. The material is debris and therefore in poor condition and contains Amosite.
