Inner City Environmental (ICE) was appointed by Ammica Solutions to carry out asbestos removal works at a commercial property on Reading High Street. The works formed part of a refurbishment programme aimed at modernising the premises for future occupancy.

Challenges
The property was located on a busy high street with limited access and high pedestrian footfall. ICE implemented strict safety controls and scheduled works to minimise disruption to neighbouring businesses and the public. The team worked to a tight programme to support the refurbishment timeline.
Outcome
All asbestos removal works were completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. ICE’s flexible and responsive approach ensured the site was handed back on schedule, ready for the next phase of development.
